| Cultural activities in the Starachowice Country are inspired and conducted by: the Starachowice Culture Center, Youth Culture Center, Co-operative Culture Center SSM and Co-operative Culture Center "Wanacja".
The Starachowice-based National Music School, National Arts Center, Municipal Dance School MiM and Musical Center "Bolero" take care of specialistic forms of artistic activities. In the commune of Starachowice the artistic movement of amateurs is represented by: |

| The institutions that fully participate in organizing many sports and recreation events are: Municipal Center of Leisure and Recreation, the Starachowice department of the Polish Tourist Association, sports clubs of SKS "star" and KSO "Świt", STK "Perfopol", KKS "Juventa", "Partner scuba divers" club "Kalmar" ,scout club "Hacart" and a tennis school "Panda".In 1999 the COUNTY SCHOOL SPORTS ASSOCIATION started to operate. |
